At World Usability Day 2020 on Nov. 12, UXPA Cleveland will once again bring together—this year, virtually—professionals, practitioners and industry experts for an intensive, informative and intriguing day of professional development sessions and networking on various topics related to this year’s theme: “Human-Centered Technologies.”
Over the last two decades, computers have helped us perform our work, have ensured our safety, and have even lightened our workload. And as technological capabilities increase, so does the interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and using data science to improve human performance. But with the promise of enhanced AI comes an accompanying fear: that humans will lose control of the technology they create.
During our first online World Usability Day, we will explore how we can design AI that is “reliable, trusted and safe,” so we can dramatically enhance human performance in the coming decade. We we will also dive into voice technology, machine learning, and ethics.
